McVay apparently is thinking through the future after the Rams having a bad year after their SB win. I hope that he stays. Wouldn't think that he would get let go already.

I doubt that we will get any news on Jeff Saturday unless he ends up being hired as the new perm HC, which I think he is angling for.

By the way, I heard recently about how the league has been warning teams about so many hiring/firing coaches and still having to pay them after they are fired. Like its becoming too much of a frequent thing. So I wouldn't be surprised if that's a factor in to some coaches being held on to instead of let go. Plus id be surprised if Bill B. released Patricia or Judge. Probably will just try to find another spot for them on the team.

I'd think the chances McVay comes back are minimal. He's retiring, stepping away, resigning, what-have-you.

Rams are getting ready to pay for the Fuck Them Picks mentality, he'd much rather be in a cushy, higher-paying, less stressful TV job than deal with that (and get fired for failing in a few years).

I don't see him stepping away. Coaches coach, players play. Most of the coaches that take those coochie jobs are coaches that have been grinding for decades. McVay still hasn't carved his legacy completely out yet.

Well there a lot of unsecure pieces to work out with the Rams in the off season. McVay, Stafford, Donald...and $$$. So its going to be interesting to see how things play out.

I'd be less surprised if Donald retired than McVay that's what I'll say on that. But yeah, not much money, not many picks. It was the plan when they went all in to win the SB and did.

He's been incredible on that run and made the Eagles a fearsome team. The playoffs is his next step since he and the Eagles got the #1 seed. It'll be a big test for him and the team if they can manage to beat whoever awaits them and get back to the NFC Championship for the first time since 2017.

For the season, he finished 6th in total pass yards (4,438), 5th in TD passes (29) and 2nd in interception % (1.2%). Heckuva year.

If you put an actual offense around him, which you got receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and recovering from an ACL injury Jameson Williams, running backs Jamaal Williams and D'Andre Swift, the Lions offense can be competitive.

I hate to predetermine games because I really think any week anyone can beat anyone. But, I can't help but think that you're 100% correct after both teams limp into the playoffs cause of their QBs being on the shelf.
