It's almost like someone doesn't take into account Brady had an offensive line most of his career, and Rodgers is just Aaron Rodgers. :draper2
So what is it? You take that amount of sacks and it takes a toll on your body, or what? Cause that was your original point.

Yes, I will not dispute that. But Grim's point was that the number of sacks would take a toll on someone's body, was it not?

Beyond that fact, saying Matt Ryan has sucked this year doesn't negate the fact that he's been sacked a ton. But Matt Ryan not playing that well and him not having a line can both be true.

The number of sacks doesn't necessarily do it, it's the frequency of it and the degree. If you don't have an offensive line, you're far more likely to just get pummeled into the dirt. Matt Ryan got hit by freight trains of defensive linemen for most of his career. He's obviously gonna be a shadow of what he once was as it takes its toll.

Aaron Rodgers has benefited from some of the softest sacks ever.

If Matt Ryan plays the same amount of time that Tom Brady has played up til this point, he’s on pace to have been sacked more. It’s only a 74 sack difference right now. Tom Brady has played 98 more games than Matt Ryan. So Ryan is getting sacked more often on avg over the course of his career. That plays a huge part in

Say you play 15 years, and only get sacked say, 100 times. Then this other player comes along and by year 5, he’s been sacked 50 times. 50 might be a lower number, but he’s taken more hits more often, and would be at 150 by year 15 if he stayed on that pace.

It's announced that both Ryan Tannehill and offensive lineman Dillon Radunz is out for the season.

:sodone:

Yeah! Think that the Titans' season can't any any fucking worse than it has been lately. Goddamn it!

All these years I’ve watched, and never knew a coach could be traded :pogba
Bill Belichick was traded to the Pats by the Jets.

It was after the 1999 season.
Yeah I would’ve been like 8 years old. Only thing that far back football wise I remember is the Falcons going to the Super Bowl the season before. :lol

And I remember it more not because I was 14 but because he was announced as the Head Coach only to resign the next day and try to sign elsewhere the next day. League forced New England to give up a 1, 4, and 7 in exchange for a 5 and 7.

Fuck that guy. Brilliant coach, and an amazing historian and great media guy (dead serious his stuff in the NFL100 show was amazing).

I know and the thought of it pisses me off.

The Titans had a good thing going, until the injury bug hit our players and opened up gaps for the opposing side to attack on. With Malik Willis leading the offense, he's gonna need all of the luck in these last three weeks, to try to retain the lead in the AFC South from the Jags. Not only he has to get involved, but the team as a whole will have to really step up if they want to get back in the playoffs.
