NFL's Richard Sherman Taken Down By K9 In Fight W/ Cops Before Arrest, Police Say

Sherman was taken down by a police K9 after trying to break into a family member's home in Redmond, Wash. before his arrest on Tuesday morning ... this according to law enforcement.

Free-agent CB Richard Sherman was booked at 6:08 a.m. local time at the King County Correctional Facility in Seattle for "Burglary Domestic Violence," according to public records.

Sherman was denied bail.

That’s a pretty serious charge. I would assume they would put a restraining order on him and tell him to stay away. I mean they let murdered out on bail these days.

Washington State Police also are investigating Richard Sherman in connection to a hit and run, and damage to state Department of Transportation property. State police say that at about 1:00 a.m. PT, they received a report of a single-car incident. A car struck a concrete barrier

I'm surprised and sad that Sherman would do this to himself, drunk or not. Plus, he should be thankful that he's alive, especially when he encountered the police, because we would never know how it would escalate.

Yeah crazy situation, but I have seen people drunk do some crazy things. Hopefully it was just one of those times that he was loopy drunk. Doesn't make it right, but still always seemed like a good dude.
