Pastrana.... interesting. He has struggled in NASCAR in the past if I remember right but the dudes exciting, that's for sure. Also the timing of this news after Ken Block passing away recently.

Man, if only it were Carl Edwards. Id lose my mind.

I pretty much saw Harvick's retiring coming because he's been in the Cup Series since 2001 and at 47 years old.

He's a well accomplished driver: Winning a Cup Championship in 2014, winning 60 races and 428 top tens. It maybe a swan song for him, but I think he's gonna put up a helluva fight, to go out on top, to try to win his second title before he retires.

Oh, Harvick will go out kicking and screaming. I’m not a huge fan of the guy, but he’s a competitor. Always has been. This won’t be one of the “feel good” retirement tours where he just tries to finish. I expect him to make the playoffs.

Well hopefully as a whole SHR does better performance wise this year. Briscoe did well and Harvick got his couple wins before car issues really hurt his chances in the playoffs but Almirola probably doesn't have very many years left as he was talking retiring before 2023 before changing his mind and then there is Ryan Preece. Plus maybe Custer will return to winning races in the Xfinity Series. So maybe collectively the whole SHR will do well and that will benefit Harvick having a great final year.

SHR was a curious case last year. Not sure why they had so many mechanical issues, but there’s enough money there to step that up.

Not exactly interested to hear what Denny has to say honestly. I mean sure, he may rant some more about the sport and the whole situations with the new cars and how the teams should get more money from the TV deals but to me he doesn't strike me as someone that is interesting to listen to. I am surprised that it's not Kurt Busch to be honest since he is no longer an active driver.

I’ll probably give it a listen, pending on guest and different things like that. Definitely like the name he chose

Yea, Denny as a podcast host just seems….meh. It’ll probably be him bitching about somebody who dared challenge him and then being boring.
