Somewhere, Jimmie Johnson's very happy to see his former teammate win the race in his old ride.

Well deserved victory for Bowman.

And that makes it another different driver winning this season.

Half the field at this point for the playoffs will be winners. Nice

Just from looking at the standings, there are still like 5-6 usual winners that haven't won a race yet and probably will before the season is over. Plus maybe a few others like the Briscoe's, Custers and Reddicks of the cup field will get a win to fill up all 16 playoff spots having won a race. It really could happen. Talladega is next up.

Chase Elliott is now the only Hendrick driver WITHOUT a win by the way. That is crazy.

Yeah I mean it’s a good chance we could have a full field of winners for the playoffs! Hell one win at this point might not even mean you’re in if we get more than 16.

I was surprised that JJC was even offered a ride in all honesty. Not to be mean, but she is often involved in wrecks in the truck series. I am sure that is a reason why she was rejected for the cup race at a super speedway.

In her defense though, Daytona is her best finish of the year in the truck series so far with 18th place. lol
