Yeah this is what I found now. So I’m trying to remember what the heck I was thinking of. Cause I remember seeing it some place. But hell could’ve been something somewhere made up and I saw it in comments somewhere, been like 5 years since I saw it

The brand dealt with bad hands with those drivers. But if SVG were to decide to be a full-time driver, the brand should consider taking a risk, to sponsor him and hopefully it pays off for both him and the brand.

SVG FTW! I had him in my fantasy lineup. Didn't know exactly who to pick and so I took a chance on SVG and Button. Saved the uses for the consistently competitive cup regulars. If I was home to watch the race live I would have swapped in Allmendinger from the garage. Ah well.

Overall glad that they got the race done, overcoming the rain and eventual darkness. It was interesting for sure. Really sucks that things didn't work out for Bell after his performance earlier in the race.

By the way, seeing that Hot Wheels commercial got me realizing that Rutledge Wood isn't around in NASCAR anymore. That's a bummer.

Finally someone else who likes Rutledge!!! So so many people hate on him because he shows personality. So im glad to see another nascar fan who actually likes him haha.

Cole Custer running the next 3 cup races in the 51 for Rick Ware racing. Fwiw, there’s been some rumors floating around that Rick may be looking to sell that charter and get out of Cup racing after this season. After everything with Cody and how bad that team is, I wouldn’t be shocked.

Also, Rick ware has 2 charters (51 and 15). So in theory, if he bails out, could have two “new” full time teams.

Was watching a video of a post race interview and got reminded that Darian Grubb won another race as a crew chief! Who would have thought that also in 2023? lol Dude was retired. Just wild how a team that was basically pieced together because it's not a full time thing won the race. Seeing Justin Marks happy...and yeah, it is kind of fitting that a street racing pro would race for Trackhouse in his first NASCAR race and win the first street race. Trackhouse being the first to win in a NASCAR street race.

Yea, I had no clue Darian Grubb was there until last night. Marks has legit built something special there, and they’re just really getting started. He has the right people in place.

Some notes from this past weekend. Triple 8 managing director says that if SVG gets a full time cup offer for 2024, they’d let him go a year early to pursue it. Get it done, Trackhouse.

Also, the Chicago street race was the most watched NASCAR race in 6 years.

Is the 91 car a car with a Charter? If not, then they gotta either get another or get rid of one of the two drivers they have already. Which obviously would be Daniel.

No, the 91 isn’t a chartered team. There’s a chance that the charter system dissolves after this season. If that’s the case, then the problem solves itself. If it continues, it’s more likely that either A) Trackhouse buys a charter (Pitbull money would help big time here) or B) Some other team offers SVG a ride.

I personally be fine if it went away, but I think most teams, at least the owners like it. But yeah I think we could see him somewhere else if he makes the jump, unless that RWR selling rumor is true snd they buy one of those up. Wonder if SHR has any plans actually set in stone for the 10? Or I wonder if SVG has some commitment to Chevy (as he drives Chevy’s in SuperCars also) which would require him to sign with a Chevy team. Either way, I’m excited to see what happens with that.
