Chase Elliott is the most popular driver now. He would be the first suggestion. I assume that if you weren't a fan of the Busch brothers, Harvick, Keselowski, Truex Jr. , Hamlin, etc. back when Dale Jr. was still racing then you wouldn't be now.

Pretty much. I didn't not like Truex though. So Chase and/or Truex it is! I know Chase's dad was wildly popular in his day.

Both are good choices. I have been a fan of Truex Jr. from back when he raced in the 1 car for DEI. Wasn't watching NASCAR when he won Championships in the Busch series though.

Him being from my state is part of why I like him. Plus I met him a few years before he made it to NASCAR. He already had a HMS Development deal however. Also met Harrison Burton and John Hunter Nemechek. Bill Elliott, Jeff Burton, and Joe Nemechek was also there. Jeff Burton was my favorite as a kid, so meeting him was amazing.

SS Green Light No. 07 car disqualified after lug-nut violation at Las Vegas

NASCAR officials disqualified the No. 07 SS Green Light Racing Ford for a lug-nut infraction found after Saturday's Xfinity Series race.

07 Xfinity car DQ'd for lugnut violation. Good thing that didn't happen last week when Custer won the race for that team. lol

Actually been thinking about my favourites more lately. I would say right now I'm really digging Chase Elliott and Noah Gragson 100%, and I also am fan of the Team Penske. Especially Joey Logano. I enjoy him in commentary, and he's just a driver I feel I have a connection with. I think Cindric and Blaney are cool too. So I think those are the ones I'm probably going to start rooting for more often in the chats.

Elliott, Harvick teams among five to lose crew members for multiple inspection failures​

The teams of Chase Elliott and Kevin Harvick were among five teams that had a crew member ejected and lost pit selection for failing pre-qualifying inspection multiple times ahead of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube (3:30 p.m. ET on FOX, PRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio) at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The No. 4 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford of Harvick, No. 9 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet of Elliott, the No. 21 Wood Brothers Racing Ford of Harrison Burton, the No. 38 Front Row Motorsports Ford of Todd Gilliland and the No. 77 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet of Josh Bilicki were the five teams with inspection infractions.

Car chiefs Robert Smith (No. 4 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford), Matt Barndt (No. 9 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet), Cody Sauls (No. 21 Wood Brothers Racing Ford), Tony Manzer (No. 38 Front Row Motorsports Ford) and engineer Nicholas Sowa (No. 77 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet) were the crew members ejected.

Cup cars will be on track for practice at 1:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at the 1.5-mile track ahead of group qualifying at 2:15 p.m. ET.
