Sorry that I didn't say anything about the race. I woke up yesterday from a shitty hangover after a night of drinking, cooking, grilling and playing cards with my family over my house. I went to my brother's house to watch his house and his two dogs while he and his girlfriend are going on a honeymoon, which they're both getting married on Independence Day. Congrats!

And congrats to Logano on getting the much needed victory to lock himself in the playoffs. Though it was a very few cars left after a series of wrecks, Zane Smith finished runner-up to #22 which I thought was pretty cool.

I can't wait for this weekend Chicago road race. Last year was a success. Hopefully SVG can defend his crown in the Cup Series.

Also, Hailee Deegan is out of her Xfinity ride for this weekend's race at Chicago. Joey Logano will be replacing her. Reportedly the team is hoping Logano can help them identify where they're struggling as a team.....I think we all know.

According to Pockrass, the four names being thrown around for the 2 open FRM seats: Josh Berry, Noah Gragson, Christian Eckes, Sam Mayer. My gut says Noah gets one of them. I think Berry probably goes to the 21.

One thing I really don't like about the Berry news is that it looks like Rodney Childers won't be joining him. Penske has guys in house that will reportedly take that role.

Yea. Feel like they've really built some chemistry, but Pockarass had hinted at them not wanting Rodney with him earlier in the week. Yesterday evening, BrakeHard and a couple other accounts indicated that Childers is not expected to be part of the deal. Curious to see where Rodney goes next year.

If I'm one of the 3 teams adding new drivers next year (Trackhouse, Front Row, 23XI), I'm doing whatever I need to do to get him on board ASAP.
