Carson has proved 2 things. 1) He's ready for the next step. I think that's Xfinity for him, as he still has some questionable moments like pushing things too hard too early today, resulting in the crash with the 48 and the 10. 2) The 42 car is not abjectively terrible. Is it great equipment? Not even close. But Noah Gragson was underperforming in the equipment he had. The 43 was up front a lot today. If Legacy can tighten up their 1.5 mile package, they can compete next year.

I still hope to see Noah in some other car at some point. Sometimes sadly, some teams just might not be a fit for you, who knows. Lot of people were writing Joey off at JGR, and then he went to Penske and has become a 2 time champion and a future Hall of Famer. I'll admit he did better at JGR and showed something, which is more than Noah's done, but I still hope to see the kid get another chance.

He'll get another shot. I think he takes a step back and goes Xfinity or Truck racing next year. Rehab the image a bit, rebuild some confidence, and then get another cup shot.

The meme thing obviously bit Noah in the ass, but it also came at a horrible time with John Hunter Nemechek having such a great season this year and Legacy switching to Toyota. Manufacturers decide more about driver lineups than teams do, and that was the perfect storm for him.

All that I know is that I am glad that Bubba Wallace had a strong race while I used him in fantasy. lol So freaking close to winning that race.

Talladega is indeed one of my favorite tracks. Looking forward to it!

Yea, I had Bubba in that one too LOL. Had Chastain, too, so my blinding bias paid off in that one. Larson and Blaney both wiping out hurt, though.

I had Truex in the garage and I thought "Well, if something happens to Bubba ill have Truex to slip in" but then Kyle Busch had issues early on (going in reverse around the track while the ambulance follows him is hilarious by the way). So I used Truex then. I had Kyle Larson and Chastain also. So yeah, that was a bummer when Larson spun while being next to Bubba. lol

I saw someone mention it on tiktok lmao and saw in the comments he was the source and someone mentioned he’s more legit than his name makes him seem. So I guess we’ll see later this week

Sammy is an interesting choice. Showed some speed early in the year, but had really struggled a lot in high-end equipment. He's young, so obviously Junior sees something there. I'm sure sponsorship also comes into play here.
