Fun race. We've had a lot of races this year where the winner was by far the most dominant guy, but it seems like there were multiple guys who had shots today. Truex was surging, Hamlin came back from a disaster on pit road, Reddick was competing until his tire man just decided, "eh, this looks tight enough." Bowman was running great until the wreck. Bell obviously had a hot rod to be able to make a comeback like that on a track that is as aero-dependent as Michigan. Lots of quality cars on the track today, and that makes for a damn good race.

Indy Road Course next week. Does SVG go 2/2 in his Cup career? Does Chase finally lock into the playoffs? I'm not crazy about the Indy Road Course (I like road courses in general, but that one is just not high on my list), but there is so much going on right now, that it'll likely shape up to be a good race. Gotta watch that 34 car next week (and the following one). He's a road course ace, and fighting to lock into the playoffs.

Neither Truex nor Bell (who finished with a beat up car) get taken to R&D. The JGR/Toyota conspiracy gains more ammo.

They are inspecting Bubbas engine, so there’s a Toyota in R&D. Seems like an odd choice lol

right! Truex is on fire. I’m not accusing him of cheating, but when you “randomly” take cars to inspection, maybe choose the one guy who could pass on the bottom without any sort of drafting help lol. They will not take Gibbs cars to R&D.

I'm extremely happy to hear that Buescher won his second consecutive race.

Great for him and the RFK Racing organization.

So, I spoiled myself of who won before I got to watch the race but I still watched the race anyway. Back to back for Chris Buescher and RFK! Brad K finished 4th even. Wild that RFK has the Fords with the most momentum right now over SHR and Penske.

Glad that Christopher Bell ended up doing well after that wreck.

I just saw a report where Noah Gragson has possibly been released from LMC. Don't know how true it is but I imagine there will be some sort of verification of if it's true or not soon.

If it comes from Bianchi or Pockrass, it's legit. Those guys are as knowledgeable about NASCAR as the people in charge.

This is perfect for Toyota, TBH. They wanted him out and JHN in the car anyway. He made it easy for them.
