It's a shame that he left Notre Dame to join the SEC to play among the big boys. He should have stayed there because the teams had success under him.
He knew that this year would be a down year for them as ND lost a lot of talent and was thin at other positions coming in.
But it's the way he left. He kept saying he wouldn't leave, then just took another job without notice, and had a bullshit 30 second meeting with the team (after telling them via text message). Shouldn't be surprising since he kinda did something similar when he left Cincinnati for Notre Dame.
It doesn't matter in the end cause ND got the right man leading them. I still get goosebumps watching this.
