Syracuse had to go to their backup QB. Apparently the starter came in with an owie and aggravated it.

Notre Dame continues to hand the ball of and get 10 yards a carry. I'm trying to figure out why you would do anything but that when it keeps working.

I believe it's because the passing game is shoddy. Drew Pyne has passed for 8 for 17 105 yards with a touchdown and a pick. So that's pretty much the reason that Notre Dame's running the ball more because the passing game hasn't been too effective.

Also, Notre Dame's defense has done a great job only giving up 7 points and giving up 155 yards overall.

Pyne is not a very good QB. The D is up and down. Hence why ND is not very good this year, they lost a lot of talent (in addition to the HC) from last year.
