I mean it's a rewrite of a classic song. Then they tried to get rid of this song with some original song and Carrie got sued for plagiarism so they had to go back. They actually had Joan Jett herself with Carrie when they brought the song back. She can still go, I saw her at WrestleMania 35 it was awesome.

I completely understand. Nothing wrong of rewriting the song to avoid plagiarism, as long as the original singer/songwriter gives it a ok and credit for it.

no no, they stopped using the Joan Jett rewrite for a few weeks a few years ago and the song Carrie did was plagiarized. Joan Jett is credited on the current song.
