Yeah just checked, 1 year, $10 million.

Which is crazy cheap. Even if he was supposed to be a backup by this point in the season

lol yeah good backups get $15-18 million so the fact that he signed for $10 million and has been halfway decent is a massive steal

Not to mention this was supposed to be a rebuild year for the Vikings.

Don’t get me wrong, there’s still been some vintage Sam Darnold moments but he’s been much better than I thought he would have been.

Especially at the beginning of the season

Plus he's a massive improvement over Cook and Mattison this year. Seemed like a no brainer tbh.

I think this year was going to determine whether they committed to a full rebuild or not

But yeah I think this roster has been built to succeed with any moderately competent QB as shown by Darnold, so it gives me hope that JJ will make this offense really hum if he's as good as advertised.

I don’t see them catching Detroit which means they’ll more than likely be the #5 seed. That gives them a road game against whoever wins the NFC West. I think they’re better than any team that wins that division(although I’m still holding out hope for the Rams)

Me too the Rams probably have the most healthy Offense in the Division but their Defense at times can be pushed around especially that Secondary.
