Honestly, as much as I wish it had a cap, Baseball (theoretically) tends to have a lot of parity because the entire game isn't just dependent on a singular player. One player can only do so much on a bad Baseball team, while one player can mean the difference between a loss and a win in basketball.
And that's just the sport IMO. I think there's salary and rule changes that could probably help this and I'd be open minded to them. It's just if they fuck up any single thing from "my daddy's basketball" then the criticism will be endless and they won't have any chance to take form for us to even see if they'd helo the parity lol
