Well Miami is going no where fast and have been for a few Years now. I'm shocked they didn't break up that Team over the Offseason they are at the same spot as last Year and nothing is changing. It didn't help either what Pat Riley said last Season towards Butler so he's been hanging probably seen then. My Sixers have their own problems though Embiid playing every other Team and once they get on a roll like they did a few Weeks ago beating the Celtics on Christmas Day they forget how to play going it looks like 0-2 on this West Coast trip so far.

The Jimmy Butler Cycle:

Step 1: Get Traded to a New Team
Step 2: Team Sees Short-Term Success
Step 3: Team Chokes in the Playoffs
Step 4: Jimmy Butler has a hissy fit because he thinks he's the only player worth shit on the team.
Step 5: Demands to get Traded and Burns Every Bridge on the Way Out
Step 6: And Repeat
Yeah at some point it’s like “When is it you, brother?”

Well they better have a plan in place to trade him by then because he's already pissed and this won't help anything I feel.

Isn’t he in the last year of his deal? Someone will trade for an expiring contract

I think so and he's nearly close to 50 Million right now for this Season is due 52 plus in 2025/2026. So maybe Pat Ripley is like we can't pay that for a guy getting older. Still he's a damn player in my eyes and could be a major help for someone if the price is right.
