Watched an interview with Candace Parker(I’ve been in love with this woman since she was at Tennessee)

And she agreed with @Barry Poppins

The Wolves broke the Nuggets
I think the breakage came in two forms at least.

They collapsed in spectacular fashion in Game 7 of that playoff series which put great pressure on the team to perform again and minimize mistakes, which put more onus on the coach and GM to help the team.

That double overtime game a few weeks ago then showed the team is not ready for a deep playoff shot if it can be outclassed and outcoached by a lesser Wolves team, so leadership had to go.

That Knicks/Pistons series could be a lot of fun

The East outside of the Celtics and Cavs is wide open. The West is going to be a Dog fight I can totally see the lower seeds beating OKC in the Playoffs

Suns fire Mike Budenholzer after a 36-46 season.

Very disappointing season considering how much money they’ve given Book, KD and especially Beal.

The Beal deal definitely was the nail in the coffin. Especially giving him a No Trade clause.

Had Book and KD been the 2 stars, Phoenix may have been able to make a playoff push.

Beal just never fit

Yeah one way of looking at it is like...

Beal, Durant, and Book have very similar skillsets: They're volume 2-point shooters (Beal: 11.4/game, Booker: 12.4/game, 13.7/game) who are average at the 3-point line, with the mid-range jumper being their bread and butter, and don't have great defensive skills. All three aren't movers or shakers; they don't have incredible passing skills.

It just wasn't gonna work. You can't have a team made up entirely of the same skills.

IMO that was always the biggest thing, none of them move well without the ball. KD may be the best but he doesn’t do it as efficiently as when he had Russ or James bringing the ball up court.

This is why basketball is not always just about talent. If that were the case, that OKC team would’ve won at least one title a decade ago

To be fair Durant, Westbrook, and Harden were young Stars and they lost to a veteran and more ready Team in the Heat. I agree with your statement though.

Building off what we were talking about with the Suns earlier, seems like they will not be moving on from Beal(probably cause they can’t)

So they’re going to try and move both KD and Booker for young pieces this offseason.

I don't know any team that wants a 36-year old breaking down Kevin Durant so honestly it's gonna have to be Booker they move on from.

The report I saw linked KD to Washington and it wouldn't surprise me if Washington did JUST to sell tickets

I don't see a Trade for KD to a Team straight up maybe a 3 Team Trade would probably happen is my bet.
