Yeah, like I said last night, I don't really ever watch any of these, and I was hyped watching him.

Haven’t watched a Dunk Contest since Aaron Gordon won his which was like 8-9 years ago.

Stars stopped participating which kills the entertainment in my eyes.

Put Ja Morant, Jaylen Brown, etc in there and it might draw my interest

It's not the this kid isn't talented at dunking. He's incredibly creative. It's that he's not an NBA player and as such shouldn't be eligible for this contest. Go dunk in the G League Dunk Contest. It's almost as if he only plays in one NBA game each season so he can keep doing this contest.

All Star Saturday Night used to be the stars. Hell the other events had stars in it, even the stupid relay thing had Draymond Green, Donovan Mitchell, Chris Paul, and Wemby in it (even though the Spurs cheated and were DQ'd). 3 point had Brunson and Damian Lillard.

And when it wasn't stars in the events, they were at least NBA players.
