They should have never been able to draft him, and then there's no reason he should have stayed after his first contract was up but HE WOULD HAVE he fucking loved it here man. Technically Dallas didn’t draft him. Atlanta drafted him and flipped him to Dallas for Trae Young.

But it wasn’t like he wasn’t in prime conditioning shape then. He’s always been a little chubby in the middle.
