The thing is with me however, that shit will get promoted like crazy. Which sends a mixed message. “Don’t do it, but here let us use it for promotional purposes!” Ricky’s dad definitely should be suspended. But tbh, I don’t think Ricky Jr should have a fine. They had plenty of time to stop it, Ricky made it KNOWN he was gonna be waiting for Kyle. Should’ve stopped it before it started. But again, they want promotional material but then punish you for it. Dumb.

NASCAR didn't make the right decision.

Ricky Sr. should have stayed out of it though. It's not like Ricky Jr.s life was threatened. Ricky Jr is an adult, he decided to seek out Kyle...which I don't blame Ricky for doing.

At some point NASCAR needs to draw a hard line if they don't want it...openly say "no more fights" and tell anyone who is connected to NASCAR to stop encouraging it if they are fining drivers because even those in NASCAR was talking about the fight as if it was some exciting and accepted thing.

To me they should have let it be. No one was physically harmed. Let two men handle it. I mean really, some of the highlights in NASCAR thats shown over and over again is two drivers fighting. It sometimes gets more discussion in NASCAR than the races itself. Other than the Ricky/Kyle drama, Kyle Larson driving up from the back was the only highlights of the night and that only happened because Kyle missed qualifying.

By the way, Kyle Busch literally wrecks Ricky...like literally charges up to Rickys bumper to turn him just because Kyle hits the wall, whether it was Rickys fault or not, Rickys day is done...Kyle races on....but Ricky can't throw a punch after the race and Kyle gets no penalty or fine. Better to throw a punch than for Ricky to seek out to wreck Kyle at Charlotte.

As for the HoF... Awesome to see Edwards and Rudd getting inducted. Obviously I am an Edwards fan. Selfishly wish that he waited longer before leaving NASCAR.

You guys are absolutely right. My statement that "NASCAR got it right" is simply not true. In my head, I knew I was saying it was right that they didn't suspend him, but honestly, nothing should've been done to him. They've posted videos from different angles of it for multiple days since it happened.

WOW! Didn't see that coming.

I guess this means I get to start putting together my predictions early.

I wonder if Dale Jr can manage to get one finally, I love to see JRM in Cup.

I would love it too. If he wants to get into Cup, I think this is the chance to do it. Problem is, he's going to be behind the 8-ball if he only buys one because single-car teams have it rough.

Yeah that’s true, definitely hard for them one car teams. I say he can get two, but those things cost alot of money, idk if he wanna grab two up.

The more I listen to his pod, I'm legitimately not sure he wants to get into Cup racing at all. I would love it, but he's said so many times that from a cost standpoint, he just doesn't wanna invest that type of money.

I can’t say I blame him, as much as I wish he would, and I doubt he wants to partner up with anyone, because if so I think it be could if he paired up with RCR, we could have Earnhardt Childress Racing be more than some engine program haha.

LOL, it'd be nice. I think the only way we ever see it happen is if JMR becomes a Cup affiliate for HMS.

Honestly that would work also. I just prefer RCR, because of the history with his dad and Richard, but Jr got enough with Hendrick that it makes plenty of sense.
