Being a Rangers fan since I went to watch a Hickory Crawdads minor league affiliate in 2013. I was against the sport of baseball, brainwashed by buddies and the media about the sport being too slow and boring. That year Lewis Brinson, CJ Edwards, and Joey Gallo were all Crawdads being led by team manager Corey Ragsdale. I met them at Buffalo Wild Wings for a signing event and was hooked.
So naturally, thinking the Crawdads would one day become Texas Rangers and having no NC team, it was an easy choice.
The Rangers have been baaaaad for years, especially just missing their deep playoff run a couple years prior. It was always disappointment, or just nowhere near contention.
The feeling of seeing the Texas Rangers win the World Series last night was awesome! People I've watched in person like Jose Leclerc, Evan Carter, Josh Jung, etc. and even COREY RAGSDALE are now World Series Champions! This team was very, very special.
11-0 on the road beating (in order):
R - Rays
O - Orioles
A - Astros
D - Diamondbacks
To win their championship on the road. While it would've been nice to win at home with their fans, this means a lot to go undefeated and break soooo many records with this underdog team.
Incredibly grateful for CY bringing in Bochy, Seager, Semien, deGrom, Eovaldi, etc. and believing this team could be special.
Whether they do it next year or not, a few years from now or centuries, this will be a moment I remember forever. LETS GO RANGERS!
