Disagree. What indicates that X1 is aimed towards sports gamers and not traditional gamers? It's not just sports games that play online a lot; first-person-shooters like CoD and BF4 are games you mainly buy for online experience. Same can apply to Halo actually as well.

But yeah, The EA sports games are without a doubt big sellers alongside games like COD, Battlefield and Halo (Fifa 13 being the 24th most sold game for Xbox and MW3 being the second most sold according to VGchartz) . And I do believe the sports franchises from EA are more popular on the Xbox than on the PS4 since the online is stabler (am I correct on that?)
We might see a shift in that since the PSN is gonna start costing now as well, which will likely equal more money going into the online service upkeep and maintenance. But it is unlikely.

EA Servers suck equally on PS3 and XBOX. As an owner of both I can say with some certaintity that they're equally shit. It's not the Microsoft or PSN servers that caused FIFA online play to be bad, it's EAs.

I guess the very-much minority of predominantly single-player gamers might be mad, in which case, purchase a PS4. They won't get use of the features of the Xbox One anyway without internet connection, so what's the problem? Purchase the cheaper console and play offline.
