Oh wow lolRight?
Guy has been like AFC Player of the Week six times now.
That's insane, but he ain't shit compared to Cousins. Imagine if both the Jags and Vikes made it to Super Bowl LV.

Are The Vikings Imploding? The Minnesota Vikings' season has gone from miraculous to disastrous as the waning weeks of the NFL's regular-season have shown that the Vikings are falling apart and in danger of losing the coveted #1 seed in the playoffs. The Minnesota Vikings earned a playoff spot after many of the lower teams looking in lost their respective games. However, among playoff teams, the Vikings have lost against the Chicago Bears and the New Orleans Saints. The Saints seemingly earned revenge for their last encounter with the Vikings during the 2020 Wildcard game, in which Minnesota won in overtime. Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer has expressed frustration over what appears to be a complete collapse from the entire team, with the defense being the worst in regards to passing yards given up. It is one of Zimmers' worst fielded defenses, while the Offense started strong, but has petered out mere weeks before the playoffs. "We're getting complacent, he clinched playoffs but we're not fighting hard enough to keep the #1 seed. Next week is our last chance to potentially hold onto it, if not, we're looking at having to play potentially four games instead of three. I know we're a Super Bowl team, we just need to maintain the hard work and passion." Much of the frustration possibly comes from Kirk Cousins, who has thrown the most interceptions of any starting quarterback in the NFL at the moment, though he is responsible for Justin Jefferson's incredible rookie campaign. Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen both broke 1,000 receiving yards this season; the last time the Vikings did this was in 2018 with Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs. Devonta Freeman has also played a major part in the success of the Minnesota Vikings, as this season stands as his statistical best, and following the Saints game, Freeman is 166 yards shy of breaking 2,000 rushing yards. Among several surprise moves throughout this year was Minnesota's shocking trade of running back Dalvin Cook to the Pittsburgh Steelers for their first-round draft pick. The move has seemingly turned out well for Minnesota both this season and in the upcoming draft, as the Steelers maintain the worst record in the NFL... if the Vikings bounce back and win the Super Bowl, they may be the very first team in NFL history to hold both the 1st overall pick and the 32nd overall pick. |
