Their are several once great wrestlers that are shadows of themselves. Drugs, Ego, legal woes and whatever else they've let effect them. Who did you once admire/idolize that's just let you down as years go on?

I think my biggest would be Kurt Angle. I used to be such a mark for this guy. Then came the painkillers and deathwatches leading to his departure from WWE going to TNA then divorce alleged womanizing and beating DUI etc. Mean this guy was a sports hero and now he's a story of where you don't want to go in your life.

I'll leave this open for any wrestlers TNA WWE etc. Though I think we could obviously skip Benoit.

Probably Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy. Kurt because he's shown me that he's uncomfortable with taking responsibility for his mistakes, whereas Jeff acts like he's totally above needing help and it just rubs me the wrong way. They're both delusional.

Scott Hall. This pretty much explains itself.

Also wanted to say Teddy Hart. He has a ton of potential if he could just change his damn attitude.

RVD was the first name that popped in my head, after all the initial excitement and buzz surrounding him in the Invasion he wrestled like a zombie for 10 yrs.

With these millions of dirt sheets and the million and one stories that surround most wrestlers, I really can't select one. Ego, drugs and legal issues? C'mon with this criteria I can't objectively put anybody but maybe Cena above such things. Seriously? Especially the ego part which gets to includes anyone that has had any real success in the World. I need some better guidelines or I'm just going to say Jeff Hardy because he's just a failure.

The criteria is really someone you used to hold in really high regard that you no longer care about. Those could be reason but yeah their are plenty to choose from.

Scott Hall and RVD are my personal favourites that have fallen from grace.

I'm glad the Hardy Boyz have failed.

Fun fact about Chris Benoit is right now the World Champion in some Afterlife wrestling world.

So I can only say he has risen since death.

For me, it's easily Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy.

Kurt Angle had it all, he was an amazing wrestler in his prime and was on the top of the wrestling world then came his painkiller addiction and all of his other bullshit such as drinking and then not long ago his stupid twitter remarks, shame he's at TNA when he could still be in the WWE.

Jeff Hardy because I was a pretty big fan of him/The Hardy Boyz years ago, he was easily a fan favorite who also was entertaining especially with his style. Now he has drug problems and everything.

Really glad I was never to big on the Hardy's I really rooted for Matt when the whole Lita Edge thing went down but other than that never really cared to much for either of them.

Scott Hall is the main one that comes to my mind.

I used to love the guy but where he is now, leaves me in disappointment. I hate how people give into that shit so easily, even after other wrestlers in the past have fucked their lives up, they still give in.

Scott Hall for me since I was a fan of Razor Ramon and at one point the Outsiders was my favorite tag team ever along with just being a big fan of the NWO period. It's just a real shame considering how much talent the guy had but pissed it all away on drugs and booze.

I think that Ultimate Warrior was bound to end up like that anyways, he just seemed like the kind of guy that was going to do that stuff sooner or later, I'm not suprised he is where he is now. The guy used to be one of my favorite WWE legends or whatever you want to call him until I read up a bit more on the guy, now I'm not a fan and I almost hate him.
