Thank you to everyone who participated in Round 1, and I hope a few more get the chance to vote in Round 2. Every match was a blowout except for Hardy vs. RVD who tied, so I will put them in a Triple Threat. I'll stop the voting Monday night at 9PM EST.

Jeff Jarrett - The guy defined TNA for the first few years and held the belt so many times.

Kurt Angle - He made the world title awesome due to his wrestling ability. I like to think Joe is remembered more for his undefeated streak than his world title reigns.

Sting - a guy of his magnitude brought the world title to new heights. Sure Bobby is good but come on, it's Sting we're talking about.

AJ Styles - He is TNA

now here's some juicy match ups!

Jeff Jarrett - No contest, not even RVD & Hardy combined had the impact of Jarrett as champ.

Kurt Angle - Not just because Angle has been champ for longer and more times. I often wonder the effectiveness of Joe's reign. His title win was one of the highest drawing PPV's in TNA history, and he's the only World champ to successfully defend in King of the Mountain. Impact's average TV rating with him as champ was 1.27, compared to the average for the whole year of 1.06.

So what the hell happened? Why did he plummet down the card following dropping the title? It's very weird and odd.

Bobby Roode - Sorry, but what have Sting's title reigns actually done for the company? His first couple he dropped the belt almost immediately following BFG main events, his MEM reign featured some rubbish defenses, and his last two were seemingly vanity wins to thank him for not signing with WWE. Sting as a champ has only added legitimacy to the belt. Roode's reign took him from mid carder to main event, and also brought James Storm and Austin Aries along with him, breaking the glass ceiling for home grown talent. Roode's one reign was tons more effective than Sting's five.

AJ Styles - Tough match, but AJ's reigns were a victory for the company's homegrown stars. Both guys have been good for great matches, both have had great reigns, but AJ's means the most for the company.

LB, your thoughts on the Roode/Sting matchup are exactly in my thought pattern.

Jeff Jarrett - Obviously this is a no brainer but that's a good thing since it means Hardy and RVD won't be going any further. The importance of Jarrett's title runs cannot be denied, particularly when comparing them to the other two saps he's up against here.

Kurt Angle - This is a pretty close matchup in my mind, but I'll give the slight edge to Angle. I feel he did more to help elevate the title while champ than Joe did, though LB's interesting tidbit about Joe's ratings certainly provides some food for thought.

Bobby Roode - This is another no brainer where I'm concerned, and I couldn't have summed it up any better than LB. Personally I don't think Sting has ever really done anything for the title itself, though he definitely has for the company. On the other hand, look at the impact Roode's title reign (longest running no less) had.

AJ Styles - Closest match of this round for sure, but I have to give it to AJ. In a time when most people thought he'd never make it to the top, he proved them wrong, and then did it again and again and again. He's proof that working hard and paying your dues can get you to the top of the mountain and for that reason alone he's the clear winner here.

Jarret the other two turds suck

Samoa Joe - Angle's best days were behind him when he was champ and Joe was just getting started...I think he was a better face for the company and should have been what TNA was about making new stars instead of giving has beens the title because of their name

Roode is better then Sting in spades...Sting was super old and really hasn't been that awesome in TNA...Roode on the other hand is the Boss

AJ Styles - super close and I really wish Christian had gone up against Jarrett here but for everything Fuji said it is the Phenomenal one

1. JJ as he made this company what it is today in so many ways.

2.Kurt only because Somoa Joe hasn't done anything really to show he was a better champion.

3. Robert Roode he just is a better true champion then Sting is for TNA

4. AJ Styles the only Grand Slam Champion to hold every title need I say more? I say he's the winner to be honest.
