I'm American, but my best friend is a wrestler at Riot City, and by the sound of it those two are friends, so I'm a fan via association.
Cool Cool...that's awesome...

Also...just a heads up but the first round results are already
doing the rounds on the interwebs...just a warning if you don't
want the matches spoiled a month in advance.

Tessa Blanchard
Rachel Ellering (Under the name Rachel Evers)
&
Mia Yim (Jade)

Its cool to see a couple of Aussies in there...Rhea Ripley & Toni Storm...
and of course they have my full backing & support.

I have to be honest and state that of the 32 women listed I've
only seen 5 of them wrestle...and that is all from youtube videos.

I'm honestly shocked there aren't any veterans or established
NXT names included. I mean its not like Aliyah, Liv Morgan,
Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville are actually doing anything.

I'm guessing Kairi Sane would be the favorite at the moment...
but if we learned anything from the Cruiserweight Classic and
the UK tournament...is it doesn't matter who wins...its who
makes the biggest connection with the fans.

I guess the real question is what the WWE will do after this
tournament is over.

Will these women get their own show?

Will the established NXT ladies be drafted to the main roster so these
ladies can take their place?

Will Kairi Sane win the tournament and challenge Asuka for the NXT title?

Will Mia Yum sign a long term contract and be fast tracked to SmackDown?

We can only wait and see.

Ronda Rousey at the Mae Young Classic

Your thoughts?

I am not familiar with the majority of those women participating in the tourney, but I'm looking forward to the Mae Young Classic, nonetheless!
