Swag is like Brock. He shouldn't talk outside of a few words. He should just kill.
Too bad Swagger is extremely awkward in the ring.

Ziggler is a great midcarder, and should be a mid-card staple like Bret Hart, Mr. Perfect and Rick Rude were in the 1980s. Used to put on great matches, which I feel he can put on, and carry the Intercontinental and US Championship. That's kind of old-style booking, since that was usually the way to build up or test a star, but it could be effective with Dolph Ziggler.

On his promo ability - It seems perfectly fine to me. I like his fast paced promos, and it adds another dimension to his "I think i'm better than you" gimmick. His heel run was 100x better than his face run. Ziggler is a loud mouth any regular fan would want punched in his glass jaw (wwwyki), but I guess it was the smarks fault for cheering for him back in 2013.

On the Billy Gunn comparison, Gunn was never fit for the single ranks. He debuted in a tag team, when it ended he was immediately thrusted into another tag team, and when that ended he was thrown back into the tag team ranks a couple months later, after he failed as a singles competitor. Then when that ended he took a hiatus, and returned in another tag team. I can't really compare them other than their look and Famasser. Dolph Ziggler is the better wrestler, and has more charisma. Dolph Ziggler is better than Billy Gunn.

False statement is false. Swagger is one of the best in ring products put together by the WWE ever. Swagger is one of few WWE purebreds who actually wrestles matches like he wants to win them.

We could talk for hours about his charisma or promos, but Sawgger's wrestling ability is not an opinion piece, it's a fact that the dude can go in ring.

Hasn't he had affair storylines in the past? The last girlfriend he got on WWE programming was because she had a affair with someone.. It seems they feel Dolph is perfect in these love storylines. He always seems to have a girlfriend. It never get's him anywhere, besides getting injured and being at the bottom of the card.

Name one superstar who came out of an affair storyline looking good.

Edge. When Lita turned on husband Kane and started the affair with Edge,it was pretty much the start of Edge's world championship runs. In fact, I'd go as far to say Edge never looked back.

But that's the exception and for the most part you're right. Hell, even Ric Flair came out of the Macho Man/Elizabeth affair angle (in WWF,not the following WCW one) losing his championship and languishing for a few months in nowhereville before getting it back.

Look at his facial expressions. It puts a damper on his in-ring ability, imo.

Facial expressions have nothing to do with his ring work. It has to do with character work. Two different things.
Besides, Swagger wrestling with a grizzled expression on his face is just what he should do. He's a big tank of a man that wrecks shit. He has his act down.

Just to add to the forced cool guy schtick which was mentioned earlier, isn't that his gimmick? DZ is a poser who thinks he's better than he is, that's why he doesn't get finishes with the fameasser or superkick etc. He saw them being used by other wrestlers who out guys away with them but because he's not as good as he believes he is it doesn't lead to the same result?

Dolph had the potential to be a main event player but now he seems content to work in his current spot. Anyone who doubts it needs to see the connection with the fans he got going when he cashed in on ADR, it was a smarky crowd but still.

DZ cashing in on ADR is probably my favorite moment since joining WWEF. Ziggler is a solid stable, I ONLY don't think he is more than a midcarder because WWE is floooded and filled with guys who can main event, and Ziggler has had some SHIT angles.

Ziggler could be Rollins at this point, but Rollins is just simply better at what he does. Dude's have roles to play, and without a kliq Ziggler is stuck in the midcard. He sells awesome, his setup move is a formerly great finisher, and he is pretty clearly stuck in the midcard limbo. I just hope he sticks around, or goes somewhere like Jarretts deal so I can see him vs Chael.

I remember marking out so hard for that. It was a cool moment. Too bad his title reign was cut short due to Swagger kicking him in the head.
Sadly, that was the last World title reign DZ would ever taste again.

I think it was from him slamming his head on something in the entrance. Stop is right though, Swag is solid in ring and then some, he is just absolutely never going to be a face when he talks as shit as he does.

Swaggz can go in the ring, that is a :fact:. I like the dude a lot. It's a shame what he's become, though.

Yes, as far as his mic skills go, he's quite one-dimensional in that field. That's why he has/used to have Zeb Colter.

I hope the dude's brought back to TV soon, or at least when Jordan & Gable get called up from NXT and they could form a faction and start outwrestling everyone on the roster.
