I don't know, he doesn't actually say what they did really. I think the "closed the door in her face" was basically them not hiring her which they shouldn't be obligated to do.

I'm just ctrl + F the article and searching all the parts he mentioned Sheena in to try and explained everything Shane said about her

I just feel that Sheena wasn't allowed to keep working on RWBY for whatever reason and they reacted badly to that (rightfully so).
