MATCH THIRTY-FIVE
The last time the two club had faced, Brentford have been on the receiving end of 5-1 thrashing at the Gtech so their was a level of anxiousness and tension for both the fans and players travelling up to Anfield, although having won their last two matches the team was in good spirits. Brentford had scored the most goals in the league, whilst Liverpool had the best defence which made for an interesting encounter. Brentford picked the exact same team as they did against Villa, with the only difference between Dasilva featuring on the bench instead of Norgaard.

Despite two red cards, Frank says that they both prevented goals that didn’t lead to any from either freekicks and as much as he doesn’t support the approach, Brentford dug deep and left with only nine men on the pitch, but a point to show for it.
