Oh lawd I forgot about that. Yeah, she was always lame but when she first came to the main roster it was a good lame as she appealed to little kids, especially little girls which worked well for her. Soon as they screwed up that image, she just became what seems to be an air headed woman-child who thinks boys have cooties and being BBF's with Sasha is as important as marriage.

Off-topic pesudo rant, I... don't think the NXT gimmicks are that far off from main roster's. Yeah they have character arcs like the MR doesn't where dudes just spin at the same spot forever, but... Like New Day, one of the last over acts they made, really got over because every week they added one more random thing to their act as soon as it got stale. They decided "ya know that New Day Rocks thing we do, yeah lets do it on a trombone now lol" or "we should come out with unicorn horns this week lol" and they just seemed like three dudes just not giving a damn and doing whatever random crap they felt like doing and it worked, then they put on good matches.

See it the same as Tyler Breeze on NXT, they kept adding little tweaks here and there to keep him fresh but...

Anyway, Bayley... It's sad to say but she kinda feels like Myspace at this point. It's not even that she isn't working now, it's that we look back and wonder how she ever did.
Her matches were damn well booked and she told wonderful stories on the brand that actually tells stories, and her gimmick of little girl superfan come to life worked like a charm.
Take the storytelling away and it's like... wow.

Yeah and this is why a lot of wrestlers fail when they come up from NXT. They lack the ability to adjust with the crowd. I am sure booking plays a role here but there is no reason they can't discuss creative ideas with the staff in the form of small changes to make a better impact.

You know what I would like to see happen?

The WWE actually pushing the women who
can actually wrestle...and not just use them to
put over women who would make better actors
than wrestlers.

The entire women's division is a joke with Alexa
& Carmella as "Divas" Champions & it really does
appear that the WWE will only (properly) push
American born, white skinned blondes.

(Yes...I know this includes Charlotte...but the
main difference is she can actually wrestle &
sell...unlike Alexa & Carmella)

Asuka, Ember Moon, Ruby Riott & Becky Lynch
should be running this division...but they don't
fit the WWE's special "profile" for one reason or
another.

Yes...I'm accusing the WWE of being racist &
prejudice as far as their booking of the women's
division on the main roster...

Yes it is a big deal and if you think it's not, you must not know how over The Rock and Mankind were and not the over as in being on TV over, I mean EVERYBODY was all over wrestling at that time. It was on the news, talk shows, magazines, people who didn't even watch wrestling at all or weren't die hard fans of it, my friends and family members watched both RAW IS WAR and Smackdown even WCW Nitro and WCW Thunder back then. Not just the tag team the WHOLE DAMN SHOW. Nowadays ? Who cares about Bayley and Sasha Banks other than just the WWE audience ? Outside of that, nobody gives a f*ck about them. Unless your name is The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Goldberg, Hulk Hogan or John Cena.

If no-one cares about Sasha and Bayley, then their name does not matter. The Rock N' Sock connection legacy and reputation has not even scratched from this. In fact it's gotten bigger. This team is a tribute to them and now more people are aware of the Rock N' Sock connection.

A large number of the fans are also teenagers, adults and elderly people, not just the kids it's YOU that's underestimating the WWE fan base. Of course the kids won't know who The Rock and Mankind are, they weren't even alive back then, but there are people who watched the WWE back then that still watch it now. Just because a large portion of the fans stopped watching it after The Attitude Era doesn't mean that there aren't people who still watch it now that were watching it back then. It's a lot less than there used to be but that's what happens after 20 years. Of course the younger generation isn't going to know who they are you dummy, they're too young.

Yes they do but you're just paying attention to the negative aspects of it, maybe if you stop caring about Roman Reigns the WWE will "stop pushing him down your throats for years". You fans are partially the reason why he is where he is right now. If Roman bothers you people so much, why do you keep going to the shows ? Why are you still watching RAW anyway ?

Yh this post would of destroyed me...but I never said that people didn't remember the Rock and Mankind tag team. All I said was more people will be aware of their existence. That is evidently true. I mean, I haven't watched Raw for a few months due to work, but the name I don't care about. Also them as a team, if it didn't contradict the months of booking they had, I'd be all for it and they do have chemistry, besides tag team of faces in a women's division of heel groups is good on paper. But with them backtracking on months (which was too long of work it is a bit painful, especially because despite the fact they have been booked to shit, both Bayley and Sasha Banks are two of the four horsewomen for a reason. They are talented. Just hope that of they try to break them up again they do it right.
