2011 CM Punk in WWE felt like the last time I was "a part of something" in wrestling by keeping up with it. That is, until 2021 CM Punk in AEW.

I feel the same. 2011-2012 I was heavily invested in WWE. It all comes back to Punk, really. His return hype is really what got me to finally invest time in to AEW and I finally gave others on the show a chance I hadn't heard of. They've managed to hold my attention for months now, so certainly not a honeymoon type deal.

While Punk doesn't look fondly at this time in his career, white-meat babyface Punk was awesome. It was nice too finally see an indy guy on TV putting in his best effort, and he was easy too root for.
