Trips isn't hated to begin with. Shelton and Kennedy are what every Trips fan believes Hunter is, unjustly hated.

Buckle up... My favourite Shelton fan-boy is bringing forth his gospel....

Yo Hometown', you forgot to bring up the quaint fable about HHH burying Shelton too.... Still plenty of thread left.

Nobody thinks Shelton is ME talent

Apart from tonnes of the Shelton marks that you bump into continually on the net.

He has ME work-rate but jobber charisma.

Work doesn't simply = movez.

Superb athlete, poor pro-wrestler could be more accurate.

He could have been a better champ then Jeff Hardy for instance could ever be though.

...Yeah, cos that US title looks awesome right now. Plus, ZOMG, check out all that heat that Shelton gets!

Nice benchmark for a champ btw.

He still has no "man-love" and has never had from what i've seen.

That shit is just laughable. When I joined the forum about a year ago, the Shelton fans would throw his name up in every conversation about 'the best....', furture world champs and then just proceed bitch about it being HHH's fault that Shelton isn't the king of the 'sport'.

Shelton probably won't ever get there as a heel. This "new age" of fans just don't care about him.

AT LAST you have a moment of clairty...

Only problem is that he's failed to run with the ball when he's been pushed as a face too! LOL

I kind of agree with Airfixx on Shelton. It's not as if they guy's never been given a push, he just can't get any decent heat.

I really rate his in-ring performances generally speaking, but they always seem a little bit stale for some reason, like his lack of personality transfers over into his wrestling. I still think he has the potential to break into the top tier if he can discover that one feud or catchphrase that sparks the fans imaginations though.

And Alex Shelley is the heart of that team. Chris Sabin's good, but Shelley has all the personality both on the mic and in the ring.

And with Dragon that's just a nickname. Nobody actually thinks he's the best. He might not even be in the top 5 of his own company. But I see your point.

Oh, I really need to see which 5 guys you would put above Danielson.. And I sure as hell hope that Austin Aries isn't one of those five.

I said probably. He would be in on my personal top 5 but I probably should have said top 3...because if I had to do a ranking of guys in ROH it'd probably look something like...

1. Roderick Strong
2. Jimmy Jacobs
3. El Generico
4. Bryan Danielson
5. Tyler Black

I just worded it wrong the first time, I meant I could see how someone could think he's probably not in the top 5, another point I forgot to mention, how can Dragon be overrated and Nigel not? :/

Aries is okay, i'd kinda put him in the "2nd tier" with guys like Hero, Albright, and Claudio though.

If NOAH guys counted they'd all be out though. :shifty:

Under-rated = Kenny Dykstra, Chris Sabin, Jimmy Jacobs, Kennedy, Chavo, Brutus Magnus, Kozlov, Punk, Matt Hardy, Primo, Hawkins and Ryder, Teddy Hart are a few.

Dykstra- Lol, just no. No charisma at all, I don't think a single person cared about him.

Sabin- Rated pretty highly on the net tbh, as with jacobs.

Kennedy-

Chavo- Completely agree, he's in the top 5-10 overall workers in the WWE.

Magnus- Lol, TNA, lol.

Kozlov- Surprisingly yes. Not nearly as shit as people make out.

Punk- If anything he's overrated.

Matt- :yesyes::yesyes::yesyes:

Primo- Underrated as a team with Carlito.

Hawkins/Ryder- Listen to the noise during their entrance, then rethink.

Jimmy Jacobs is WAYYYY OVER RATED! He has basically been FLAT since the killer promo that marked the beginning of the Age of the fall. Since then...the MOST BORING GUY IN AOTF. Necro and Tyler Black have been wayy more over and had better matches since then. No way Jacobs is over Danielson, Black, Generico, Steen, Necro in RoH. Everyone's been on his nuts since he changed from his faggy emo look to his faggy goth look, he hasn't been half as good, and I see the guy perform on a monthly basis at my hometown promotion, where he held the top strap.

If people really think Teddy Hart is underrated...WOW. The guy is the T.O of indy wrestling, a fucking cancer, no "big" indy wants to book this douche. And if you think wrestlers like Teddy Hart are "under rated" than its time to stop watchin or time to realize wrestling goes wayyyy beyond the repetitiveness of RoH and the spot monkey style people think is "superior" wrestling. And saying he can work a match? BWAHAHAHA Are you serious? Because that might be the most absurd thing written thus far in this thread. Know why dude gets no respect? Because he's a disrespectful, over rated piece of shit, unworthy of his family name.

Here's a good idea, why don't you add something constructive to the debate instead of trying be look smart with a lazy answer. What do you think, since you must be the master of all wrestling OPINION, shine down upon thee with thou knowledge doth posses.

What the hell are you talking about? You say Chavo is top 5-10 then say Kenny and the Edgeheads suck cuz of crowd reaction? >_> Jacobs is rated below a bunch of people usually and never gets legit title consideration. And everyone always rates Sabin worse then Shelley which isn't true by any sizable margin. And I (as mentioned earlier.) actually think he's better than Alex.
Generico? Really?

What!? Generico isn't known for his mic skills, but how can you not respect his ringwork and charisma? He's kind of the total package. I may be crazy though, but i've never seen a bad Generico match. Check out his PWG matches with Super Dragon.

Chavo being one of the top 5-10 overall workers in the WWE?

Hardcore over rated: HHH,

Over rated by who, the haters practically = the fans now tbh, and hes in the top 5 mic skills of the business, with the same ring skills of Randy Orton.

Christian,

He's a little overrated but is ME level in ring and on the mic, so it's sort of acceptable.

Jeff Jarrett in any capacity,

I haven't ever seen him praised tbfh.

most indy wrestlers (esp. Jimmy Jacobs,Nigel, and all the Jack Evans clones)

great generalisation here, but some are right

TNA (there is nothing good about anything they do)

But everybody hates TNA

Bret Hart all day

I must be missing all the great praise

Somewhat over rated: Rey Misterio,

Underrated if anything, a lot of people forget how good he can be in ring

Kofi,

Meh, neither over nor underrated, he's a good worker but will get stale soon.

Evan Bourne,

Kinda right, but he's the most exciting thing in the WWE so not really.

Jeff Hardy,

Sort of agreed, but he has a lot of haters on here as well.

Randy Orton

Agreed, most overrated guy in wrestling tbh.

Under rated: John Cena (trendy haters know nothin)

trendy haters are SOOO 2 years ago

Umaga,

Agreed, Umaga pwns

Jack Swagger,

Bandwagons aren't enough now?

El Generico,
Kevin Steen,
Curt Hennig,
Doug Summers,
Rick Martel,

Giant Bernard

If people aren't rated at all, then they're not really underrated.

Scott Stiener,

Trushe.

and Tomko (man TNA really fucked his boat up).

Umm, general piece of shit big man, Mike Knox > him

Hernandez.

Agreed, great ring presence.

Are you happy, 'tard?

 CHavo gets more of a reaction than they ever got and they were never any good in ring either, Kenny looked confused whenever he wrestled.

I hear where you're coming from on Kenny, but I think he had a lot of potential. And didn't got overlooked a lot by the IWC. He wasn't there yet, but he could have been something minus the short-term cheerleader gimmick. Same with Johnny Jeter. Rider and Hawkins were actually really good in the ring, once again, a short-term type gimmick killed anything they could ever be at this time. A Major Bros. Rebirth could at least give them a new start.

And I like Chavo, but he's not over at all. During his ECW title reign there were crickets whenever his music played, and honestly, he's kind of been booked as a chump until this US title thing came up, which is good because maybe he won't be Edge/Vickie's lackey anymore.
