Okay I've just come out of watching it...here were my thoughts...

Robert Downey Jr is too fly.
Scarlett Johansson is very, very sexy.
I want Jeremy Renner's hair.
Stan Lee's cameo is epically cheeky.
'Stark, we need a plan of attack' 'I have a plan...attack!'

It is excellent, but Thor and Captain America are weak links. It is not perfect, but is very good. Possibly the blockbuster of the year.

Out of all the movies I have seen this year so far The Avengers is the best film. It had a good combination of action and comedy in it. I can't wait to get the movie on DVD when it comes out.

Its the best film of its kind so far this year, but there has been better films. People need a bit of perspective.
