I don't think 90% of American approve of citizens being stripped of their right to vote weeks before the election either but it was still approved as valid

My fear isnt that a ton of people want it, my fear is the few with power will and the others that could speak up will stay silent and it'll just be me yelling into the void and being told don't worry this won't ever happen

they all talked shit about trump when he lost the election and all sucked his dick and bent the knee the moment he was nominated again. these sycophants only care for power

It also wouldn't be advertised as "we're removing elections because we don't think we should do them anymore."

There will be some happening on 3 years which will start debates on whether we can have a November elections before Congress rules a few months prior to "delay" it with a date that we'll see if it's met.

Again, I don't actually believe this will happen, I'm by no means saying it's inevitable. This is just the playbook that will be attempted, very good chance it is stopped but I don't think pretending it's not possible will do anything but help them get it done.

Trump says a bunch of dumb things that he shouldn't and he deserves to get hate for it but at the same time there are a lot of things accused of him based on fear of what he COULD do, not on what he has done already.

I'm not some diehard Trump supporter (I cringe when people around me act like he is a great person) but at the same time a lot of the negative stuff directed at him I don't think is reasonable at all. Especially when people act like an ass while accusing Trump of being an ass (Edit: Which I am not accusing anyone here of). We need sanity in this country again and it's probably not going to happen after this next election regardless of who wins.

I'm personally still very confident that Kamala is gonna win the election by a fairly moderate landslide, but Trump winning is still something to be extremely concerned about, not just because of his authoritarianism, but because he would by extension give carte blanche for transphobes and anti-LGBTQ people to kill and murder and torture with impunity.

That number might be way, way lower than you think, tbh.

It's hard to say though, because you can only go with so much you see online. You can't just say "They're all bots" and that's that, because it gives the (maybe surprisingly high) number of actual people who do support it, a very good possibility to hide.

I don't say you're wrong, of course. We just don't really know and that is dangerous.
