So I have a different approach for one of my main points that went over peoples heads and had many telling me what I was saying while completely missing my point.
So Joe Scarborough and Mika Brezinski are pretty staunchly anti-Trump to the point of routinely calling him Hitler and calling his supporters Nazis for much of the last decade. But yet recently they were happy to civilly meet with him at Mar A Lago. So here's my point; if Trump was Hitler, if Trump is that level of monstrous human being why would you meet with him? Why would you civilly meet with Hitler? Thats my point, if Trump is Hitler why would you treat him civilly?
That's when you know that shit is just rhetoric put out there to spread division and hate, and ruin their credibility. Again to my original point there, same with Tulsi Gabbard being called a traitor and a spy after she exposed Hilary and then Kamala. Its to ruin them. If Trump was Hitler why would you meet with him, why would you hand power over to him? Because the Hitler stuff is just rhetoric put out there. If Tulsi was a Russian spy would she she still be an active member of the Hawaii National Guard? Why would she be allowed to continue to serve in a Military capacity and Political capacity?
I do love this thread though. Because thesedays even people like Ana Kasparian, and holy crap EVEN Cenk Uyger are calling out the Democrats failures as failures. Calling out the attacking of the voters and ignoring the working class. Ignoring the issues that affect everyone in favour of issues that affect some people. Calling out the shit I said above. Hell even Bernie Sanders has been willing to agree with Trump's statements and policies where he deems it so. Which is something we should all be for. If someone says something their Party shouldn't determine whether you agree or disagree. Judge the individual point for what it is.
But most people here are just staunchly Democrats are perfect and are right on everything, Republicans are evil and wrong on everything. This forum is like an episode of The View.
Reading statements like people calling Latino's sexist for not voting for Kamala is wild. If you're only debate point is to throw out the ism's and ist's you're not the noble person you think you are. Reminder Mexico has a female President right now, so the narrative put out there by Democrats and the MS that they're too macho to vote for a woman is so dumb.
@ETE We won't find out what trump really has in-store as I don't know much about project 2025 but he's on about dismantling the deep state. His party is part of the deep state i watched a really interesting documentary about it and it's like georgian town houses next to capitol hill. Kissinger forgive if I'm wrong wasn't he a republican .
Trump is delusional and for the real power players whom we never hear about let this happen should feel fucking ashamed but they don't as it's not what you know but who you know . I'm reading Owen Jones THE ESTABLISHMENT about the UK version of this and it's quite frightening in all sincerity
It can still be changed if Trump wants he has all the power now and as a social democratic voter I find this sad.
Yeah you got me with the 8 I'll give you that . When I'm wrong I'll admit there and then sir.
The thing with Project 2025 is, that's not Trump. That's a separate group of Republicans who put that together as a proposal of what they want. But Trump himself has never endorsed it, at least publically. Its like saying every insane thing that any Democrat says is what Kamala/Biden/Hilary/etc are going to do. Its a fear tactic from the media. There's a pro crime, pro pedophilia rhetoric in the worst corners of the Left, does that mean we pin that on Kamala?
Politics is indeed a part of the deep state, which is the problem. Its money above all else, money above the people. Creating medical industries that benefit off of people being unhealthy, a war machine that benefits from war, prisons that benefit from locking people up (at the extremes, most people in prison belong there).
I think I've raised this point in this thread already, but there's no guarantee that Trump will follow through and dismantle the government overreach and the corruption and all the bullshit within modern politics. Even if he does that's a Herculean task. If we assume that American Politics originated with noble intentions its still been decades upon decades of corruption and bullshit, and the deep state seizing the true power. But if anyone is going to do it, its Trump, at least anytime soon. An establishment, career politician like Hilary, or Kamala, or DeSantis, or whoever has no reason to do so, no motivation to do so. They get rich off of the current system, they need the current system so they can get rich.
Trump doesn't need that, now greed is greed and the more you have the more you want so I'm not saying that Trump wouldn't or wont benefit from the current system. But he doesn't need it like a Hilary, or Harris, or Biden, etc does. He's got wealth outside of the political sphere.
There's also the people he's surrounding himself with that give me hope. RFK jnr, Tulsi Gabbard, who in my opinion will likely be the first female President, Vivek Ramaswamy, even Elon Musk. They're outsiders, at least in some way they're all outsiders and dont feel like they're just another 'plant' for lack of a better word who will just say the same things and do the same things as every one else. Its up to the likes of Trump, Tulsi, RFK jnr, Bernie Sanders, or hell even to a degree AOC (though she needs to stay true to what got her elected in the first place) to change the system. Kamala Harris would never do that, the Democrat party as it is would never do that. The Republican core would never do that.
Like as someone outside of America, Americans should be championing RFK jnr, your food is garbage, your food is poison. Most American food cant be sold outside of America as it is, ingredients have to be changed because there's that much shit in your food. And RFK is the loudest about that, and the guy that more than anyone else will likely change that. That's why he's dismissed as a kook though, that threat of changing the status quo. Similar to Tulsi being labelled a Russian asset after she went against the War Mongering that was creeping into the Democrat party and has now taken a hold of it.
And after all the Election has settled we've seen that Kamala managed to overspend on her campaign. Despite raising 1.4(?) billion or her campaign she ended up 20 million in debt. Is that not a good example of why she shouldn't have been given more power? If she can do that in 3 months, what would she do in 4 years?
And the Celebrity endorsements was a MMASIVE misstep. People are sick of celebrities, people don't respect celebrities anymore. Too many of them have been exposed as terrible human beings, and often sex criminals. Why would we listen to them? Why would the working class who are largely struggling thesedays listen to rich out of touch celebrities?
Just a note @Chariman Jay, much of this is not directed at you. But I just started expanding on from my original point.
