Roman Reigns beat Chris Jericho(c) by way of pinfall to Capture the WWE US Championship. Reigns hit a Superman Punch on Jericho who didn't even attempt to kick out of the pin.

Sasha Banks(c) beat Nia Jax with the Banks Statement to Retain the WWE RAW Women's Championship.
Pre-recorded promos from WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens(c) and Sami Zayn aired ahead of the main event.
Kevin Owens(c) beat Sami Zayn with the Pop-Up Powerbomb to Retain the WWE Universal Championship.
PM: Under the illusion of coming out to celebrate with Owens, Chris Jericho came out and turned his back on Owens. By kicking him in the balls and then hitting a Codebreaker to send the WWE Universal Championship into his face. Y2J stated that he would see Owens at WrestleMania 33.

Since debuting on the main roster, the "Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe had continued to go form strength to strength. In his first match as part of the Smackdown roster he challenged AJ Styles(c) for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Not only that but he would defeat Styles to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion at the Royal Rumble.
From here Joe would enter the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out and retain his newly won gold. His opponent for WrestleMania 33 was revealed to be someone he knew all too well from NXT. In the form of the recently called up "King of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura.

Mickie James, Naomi and Natalya Neidhart would do the same for the blue brand.

The Good Brothers(c) that they would defend their gold in an open challenge fatal four way match at WrestleMania. Which would be open to any team on the WWE Roster or from elsewhere in the world.

He would successfully retain the gold against the man he beat for the title aka The Miz in a rematch at the Royal Rumble. From here he would retain the title against Baron Corbin at No Way Out. Only to end up the victim of a robbery as Bray Wyatt attacked him and took the title. Cena cut a promo stating that if Wyatt wanted some he could come get some at WrestleMania.
WWE Smackdown Women's Championship - 2 Out of 3 Falls
Becky Lynch(c) VS Alexa Bliss
At No Way Out, Becky Lynch became a two time WWE Smackdown Women's Champion. When she faced off and defeated the then champion Alexa Bliss(c) in a singles match. Bliss confronted Lynch and stated her rematch would take place at WrestleMania. Lynch said she was more than happy to kick her ass again and went to SD GM Daniel Bryan who made it a 2 Out of 3 Falls match.

The Wyatt Family(c) VS American Alpha VS The Uso's
The final match added to the WrestleMania 33 card was a triple threat tag team match for the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship. Between the current champions the Wyatt Family(c), the former champions American Alpha and the Uso's. The Uso's earned their spot in the match by beating both the champions (non-title) and the former champions in tag team matches.
