I think this is the thing a lot of people are misremembering is Tessa was never fired over any of the allegations. She still won the world title afterwards. She was fired over messy Covid working stuff.

If TNA can find a little bit of its own identity and then MLP continues to develop, it’ll be nice to see what they both bring to the table in 2025.

I'd say she was fired over the allegations but they used the Covid stuff and the fact that her contract was about to expire to make themselves look better for not doing anything about the allegations
I mean she wasn't sending in taped promos lol unless that's a straight up lie that's more than ground for firing

The timeline doesn’t make sense for that. They put the belt on her that weekend and continued to have her headline all of their television tapings until Covid shutdown travel and she was stuck in Mexico.
The reason she was fired was because she was about to get married and she didn’t wanna leave the country while Covid was still in its infancy. They wanted her to work Slammiversary the month before the wedding and she said no.
And for the record at this time Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns still hadn’t returned to work yet.
No I'm saying they didn't do anything about the allegations at first and it was a bad look for them so her pulling more shit as well as her contract about to expire made it an easy decision for them to get rid of her. I worded my post wrong, I should have said the allegations IMO for sure factored into her leaving.
I guess we’ll have to agree to disagree because they were showing no signs prior to her refusing to tape promos for that pay-per-view of not wanting to push her anymore.
I’m gonna assume that’s just because they were trying to keep it from leaking or they didn’t want any issues before the taping similar to how a lot of people weren’t clued in about punk coming to WWE and I’m not going to look too much into this about her not coming in.
That’s just hilariously petty. But that’s just par for the course with TNA having that AAA partnership.
When someone gets fired it's usually due to a number of reasons. The allegations had to factor into them getting rid of her, because they could have just suspended her for refusing to tape promos but when someone is known to be toxic and there were just allegations months before AND their contract is about expire it's easier to just get of them.
