How true are these statements people about her being racist? cause that could really damage the chance AEW signs her.

I don't buy it. They literally aired a segment last week saying they were gonna address this and they promote her defending the title on their PPV.

The only thing that changed since last week is #speakingout.

They probably asked her to contribute to the segment and she once again refused, so they decided to cut their losses.

Tell me why they would only suspend Elgin who is accused of much worse than anything she's been accused of, but fire her, when she's obviously much more important to them?

I think all signs point to her deciding to sit out the rest of her contract and never dropping the belt, so they said fuck it.

You don't think they're gonna have a state of the title address this week after this, also?

I truly TRULY doubt this correlates with speaking out at all. The worst of accusations came out against her before she even won the title and they still pulled the trigger on it. Nothing substantial has come out since. I haven't even seen her name mentioned, other than on those very broad lists which also list people like Enzo. When you got shit like David Starr, Joey Ryan and Jimmy Havoc going down, no one is paying any attention to Tessa's indiscretions. Advertising her for Slammiversary was just some incompetence on Impact's part because her deal is up before that. Either that or Tessa had a change of heart, had told Impact she'd been there and then ghosted them.

If that was the case you re-write that segment and strip of her of the title on the air like they teased they were gonna do.

Until Covid legitimately stranded her in Mexico, Tessa promoted the shit out of being Impact Champion on Twitter.

Unless it's pressure to do something because of this hashtag, which I think it is, there's a piece of the story we're missing.





















Going all the way back to her not being able to make Rebellion. Something happened we're missing.

I'm sure there is more to the story. Maybe she just had a straight up falling out with Impact management. I'm not necessarily gonna assume that she's at fault but clearly the relationship somehow splintered.

Like with Enzo, he was already hard as fuck to work with, and when shit went down like it did WWE just said fuck it and cut him loose.

Like, I doubt the speak out shit is the sole reason she was let go, it might be PART of it.

I guess we'll find out in a year or two when both sides have told their versions of the story.

Like I said above, it could honestly be a combination of that, and being hard to work with. But this speak out stuff I doubt is the sole reason for it.

When someone is already hard to work with, per reports weeks ago before any of this happened, they are already on a short rope. I'm sure with out both things, shes probably still with the company.

I do think there was a fractuaring before this. I think they wanted her to come back and she didn't want to leave Mexico yet.

I'm thinking possibly a Roman Reigns situation. I don't think she was tryign to leave Impact. Unless they got mad at her not working.

That said, the timing of the release is suspect amidst everything else when they had a chance to strip of her before naming her to be on PPV.

I guess we'll see if more comes out, but I don't buy the PWInsider story as being the whole story and nothing but the story.
