I might slit my wrist if Tessa puts Charlotte over. I'd rather she go to AEW and be a top dog. But that's doubtful.

Tbh the rumors been for years that shes a pain to work with and shes had some stuff going on throughout the years though if she does go back to WWE I would imagine that she and Ricochet gonna be weird lol. I see her going to AEW though her step dad is there they can pair him up with her and maybe do a stable with Spears, Tully, Tessa and another star. I feel like at least from a locker room comparison shes Randy Orton without the poop. That said it's a huge lost for impact. I really wonder where they go now with title you got moose you got ace Austin who the company loves you got elgin though with the allegations I doubt he wins. I think Austin wins tbh. I will give tessa credit she def made a huge impact no pun intended and is gonna be a trailblazer.

I think the bigger picture has been overlooked for why Impact will still be worth watching, and maybe more so.

I might finally get my wish. :mark:

Why would you expect someone who can't even be bothered to send in some simple promos, to show up to wrestle, after their contract was expired, and lose their belt?

We don't have the full story yet but I think it's pretty easy to piece things together and determine that relations between the two parties soured for one reason or another and it was obvious that she wasn't going to be signing an extension, and wasn't going to be at Slammiversary to drop the title. I'm sure there's a lot more details to it than that, but that's the gist of things. That seems like a perfectly reasonable cause for termination to me. Although, I'm not saying that this handling of it was the absolute best on Impact's part. It adds up. It doesn't have to be some deeper conspiracy. It could even just be as simple as they feel jilted that she wouldn't send in promos, despite being the world champion, and fired her out of precedent. Again, not saying it's the right move, but it could easily be that simple.

If it has anything to do with #SpeakingOut or whatever, we'll figure that out before long.
If it was obvious, why did thy announce her to be at the PPV? Sorry but this doesn't make sense. That announcement was this past week!

Have you ever heard WWE firing someone because they weren't sure if they'd sign a new contract or not?

Strip her of the title, sure, but why fire her and make that choice for her when the two sides still had time to negotiate a contract?

And if they fired her because she didn't send in a promo, then that's equally as dumb as firing her over a hashtag.

TNA should have figured out their shit before it got this far, but I can almost guarantee things strained before the missed promo.

Her Twitter promoted the fuck out of Impact until about the last week of May and then her whole timeline goes quiet.

So something happened to her or between them in late May or early June and Impact was like status of the world title: SLAMMIVERSARY!

You expect every company to go about business exactly like WWE does?

I'm not saying if it was or wasn't stupid. I already said it was quite possibly straight incompetence on Impact's part. All I'm saying is I don't think it's any deeper than it's been reported. I genuinely think Impact was just tired of dealing with her or decided to fire her before she quit. :lol

Caving to a hashtag to fire someone you're already having issues with isn't that deep.

It also has to be deeper. Tessa didn't just ghost Impact for no reason. Something broke down in their communications.

But hey, as long as we both agree Impact are massive morons for promoting a world title match before firing their world champion we Gucci.

FWIW I saw that Sean Ross Sapp said he had more coming on the story soon. So hopefully that will piece things together and give us the full story.

They'll probably produce another banger of a show despite the circumstances, like they so often do. :lmao Even if it comes down to Eddie Edwards vs. Ace Austin for the vacant belt, that's not a match that I'll be mad at. :lol

Is it not Canadian law that you have to watch Impact?

Seems something that Canada would do, so I'm shocked you're not forced to watch it. :side:
