I'm not going to assume someone's motivations, and I said I want to see a lot more from him before I stick to a proper read on him.

Why aren't you necessarily entertaining it just being Barry being scum? Why does he have to be scum with a newbie in this situation

This might sound odd but I like Chris' take on Barry a lot more than Lethals even though what the two of them are saying isn't exactly all that different.

Ok, but then shouldn't your immediate natural reaction, if you were actually suspicious, not to immediately start questioning or pressuring them in thread ? Kind of like im doing now?

T-Pein is a lot of fun once you get accustomed to his quirks. My fave is him posting 9 names early on and saying "scum in here" and nailing 4.

The thought didn't cross my mind. As I said, I'm more of the generous town lean but entertaining a possible s/s in open sight interaction.

My immediate reaction was holy shit, Barry is being really nice and that's a pretty awesome answer that can help our new recruits. Then I remembered that it's Barry, so I was hesitant. He was offline as well when I entered the thread, so saw no need to question him being as though he wouldn't see it until much later on. From experience it sucks dick to play catchup hours behind. Being in lockdown I'm patient enough to wait to interact with him live. In regards to MG, I'm not even going to remotely for one second try and offer advice lol.

Yeah GFK was whinging about him, saying that he was annoying and that mafia was DOOMED if we let him in. Then I trolled GFK about being upset about losing his "King of Mafia" crown and he blocked me.

Nah. it's that there's going to come a time in this game where the newbies are gonna get POEd more or less inevitably, and statistically speaking most of them will be town so that's just not gonna be a very fun ordeal and omega easy for scum to exploit.

Last sentence isn't very pro town, should leave rivalries at the door for the betterment of the team so that's certainly not winning me over. I'm not convinced really , so my vote is gonna sit here

I'd say this might be a special occasion though bc he had renewed motivation for this game specifically.
