Tenille Tayla signed to WWE Development *DO READ*

Women’s wrestling news site Diva-Dirt.com is reporting that World Wrestling Entertainment has signed 22-year-old Australian women’s wrestler Tenille Tayla to a developmental deal. Tayla began training in Canada back in 2008 with former WWE star Lance Storm. No word yet on when she will begin working at Florida Championship Wrestling, but it should be in the next few weeks.


Tyla has worked for SHIMMER and will be appearing on the new World of Hurt Canadian reality TV show that will follow students from Lance Storm’s wrestling school. The show debuts on May 1st on Canada’s cable channel The Cave. According to WWE sources, the company is actively looking to sign several new young divas to developmental contracts.

I did manage to do a post like this a month or two ago; last night I had the honor of meeting her at a local wrestling promotion known as MCW (Melbourne City Wrestling)

I remember reading her signing when you posted it last here and it is great that she has a WWE development deal at such a young age. Few Australians have made it to WWE so hopefully she can make it to television. Being trained by Lance Storm is very promising since it means she can actually wrestle.

They've signed a few interesting prospects for the women's roster lately. Good luck to her, I hope she makes it to the main roster soon, I'm sure she can work well being trained by Storm.

Being trained by Storm and appearing in Shimmer makes her seem very creditble, and it sounds like she can only add strength to the women's division in WWE in the long term, look forward to seeing her in the spotlight.

WWE developmental Diva Tenille Taylor posted the following update on Facebook: “Thanks for all the support! Just wanted to let you all know, I’m almost 5 weeks into recovery now and the shoulders feeling great! Still a ways to go, but the hard part is out of the way so I’m excited to get back on track and plan for what’s ahead.

In other news, a few Australians have been working for NOAH, NJPW and ZERO1 in Japan. It looks as if Australian wrestlers are out there to make a name for themselves, in an inside spoiler (No other website knows of this)

There are a few Australians who are training with Lance Storm in May 2012. There is a high chance that a couple could be picked up into WWE Development. The numbers of Australians heading into big promotions is a growing thing and shows that Wrestling is indeed alive and kicking in Australia.

It's been announced that today she's heading off to the USA to start her FCW Career.

Should expect her to be on a taping or so by August.

After reporting to WWE developmental earlier this summer, Lance Storm student Tenille Tayla made her in-ring debut for FCW this past Saturday night at a live event in Melbourne, Florida. She competed in a battle royal with Audrey Marie, Raquel Diaz, Paige and Natalie, which was won by Paige, reports Diva-Dirt.
