You know, TNA could probably have ratings like Smackdown! now since they're live for the time being, but whoever does their advertising and PR really sucks at their job.

This week's edition of TNA Impact Wrestling drew a 0.99 rating (with 1,485,000 viewers), a slight increase from last week's 0.98. Also worth noting is the fact that Impact drew a 0.97 two weeks ago, so the upward pattern, albeit a small one, continues this week as well.

This week’s TNA Impact Wrestling rating only scored 0.85 with 1.108 million viewers.

Horrible. Must be the Directv situation.

Obviously it was affected by the Direct TV/Viacom dispute, I honestly thought it would be lower. As bad as this rating is, it's nothing to be ashamed of due to the circumstances.

Really thought the show would be rated higher, but then the Viacom thing happened.. At least TNA finally has an excuse for shit ratings.

I see that the recap show they brought in got pulled after one week after a terrible 0.2 rating, it will be back this week but I wonder how long it will last. I don't know why they went with this format for another show rather than bringing back TNA Reaction which did okay in the ratings.

I don't know why they don't just put fucking Xplosion on TV, that way they've got another 1 hour of original programming to use some of the talent who aren't getting on iMPACT and presumably frustrated.

Nice rise, still low rating though. The dispute was settled last Friday (day after it affected me :side:), so I'm interested to see the rating this week.

They could show TNA Epics as well which airs overseas, it is odd that they make these shows for the international markets yet don't use them when they have more tv time at home.

According to TVByTheNumbers.com, the 8/2 edition of Impact Wrestling took in 1.4 million viewers and scored 0.4 million viewers in the 18-49 demographic.

The show finished with 1.0 cable rating, which is down slightly from the previous week's 1.08 draw.

- Last night's episode of Impact Wrestling scored a 0.89 rating with 1.21 million viewers. Those number are down 11% in the ratings and 15.7% in viewership from last week's 1.00 and 1.40 million viewers, and is the lowest viewership during the summer run outside of the July 12th episode, which aired during the DirecTV/Viacom dispute.

The show ranked #43 among cable shows for the night, #22 among males 18 – 34 and #12 among males 18 – 49. It took a hit in younger viewers, down 0.2 in the teen male demographic and 0.1 in the male 12 – 34 and male 18 – 34 demos. Males 18 – 49 and adults 18 – 49 were even with last week. The show's competition was the NFL pre-season and the Olympics.

NFL obviously affected the rating pretty bad, but still, I think it should have been up from that. Such a pity that they're ratings are dropping when the product is getting better.

Q1: Impact opened with a 0.93 rating for a promo involving Austin Aries, Jeff Hardy and Bully Ray in the ring, plus one commercial.

Q2: Impact dipped to a show-low 0.90 rating for Samoa Joe vs. Magnus, Madison Rayne backstage, and one commercial.

Q3: Impact increased to a first-hour-high 0.98 rating for Madison Rayne's Knockouts Title speech, Brooke Hogan's interruption, the TNA roster saving Brooke from the Aces & Eights, Sting's rallying speech, and one-and-a-half commercials.

Q4: Impact decreased to a 0.96 rating for the first-half of AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels and one-and-a-half commercials.

Q5: Impact jumped to a 1.16 rating for the second-half of Styles vs. Daniels, backstage segments, and one commercial.

Q6: Impact decreased to a 1.13 rating for Bobby Roode's "walking away" speech after his title loss to Austin Aries at Hardcore Justice, plus one commercial break.

Q7: Impact increased to a 1.17 rating for Miss Tessmacher vs. Madison Rayne with Taryn Terrell debuting as special referee. This was the first significant movement for a Knockouts segment in several weeks.

Q8: Impact increased to a show-high 1.23 rating for the Bully Ray vs. Jeff Hardy main event, one commercial, and post-match attack on James Storm by the Aces & Eights. This was the highest-rated quarter-hour during the live summer run and highest-rated segment since May 17.

TNA should go back to the 9-11pm time slot, imo.

Even though it's still a bad rating, they are at least increasing at the right times when they should.
