Ted DiBiase Injured At SmackDown

Ted DiBiase broke his ankle at last night's TV Tapings. It's been a rough time for DiBiase, who has been wearing a brace and working through a damaged wrist for several weeks.

DiBiase posted the following on his Twitter...

DiBiase Posse last night I unfortunately broke my ankle. Can't catch a break lately. Ha, Well I guess I did n a way! Its ok tho, James 1:2-3

Which basically sums up his entire career so far in WWE.

So much for him getting a big push. I see him being released now. If they do release him, and he goes to TNA, I will be a TNA regular.

Ted DiBiase posted the following to Twitter following an MRI on his broken ankle: Update: torn ligament and small break, but NO torn tendon which means no surgery! Again, thank you all for your encouragement!

Hopefully that means he can return quicker. The torn ligament is bad news, but really, not as bad as it could have been.

Very true I just hope it dont mean future endeavored , cuz things are better now or at least as you said coulda been.

Ted Dibiase will have surgery after all, but not on his ankle. While he's healing from that injury, he will be getting surgery on his shoulder.

He wrote on his Twitter: "Well, looks like I'm going under the knife after all. It's not my ankle, it's my shoulder. I've been working through a lot of pain for the past year. Since I'm down with the ankle, I'm going going to go ahead and fix the shoulder. And I'm coming back #CountryStrong!"

It's not like he was doing anything major. I don't like to see people hurt (okay, I lied, I like seeing Kelly Kelly and John Cena hurt) but the business isn't losing a very important person.

I like Dibiase Jr. but he hasn't been anything special for a long time. Once he broke off with Cody, Cody clearly became the breakout star. Ted had a short time in the spotlight but he fell out of it and didn't do anything grand. His pairing with Maryse was just awful, imo, they had no real chemistry, and he didn't recover after they broke apart, either.

It's sad but true. The WWE just can't get anything together for him.

I know, I am still holding out hope that after this they can retool him and bringing him back as a major heel. They also need to stop having him try to live up to his dads gimmick. That is going to kill him since he is not as charismatic as his dad was.
