Taz Lashes Out On ECW Projects Being Released

Taz posted the following on Twitter, discussing new ECW projects being released…

"Is it humanly possible for ANYMORE PEOPLE to make anymore ECW DVD's and make MORE $$ off something they had NOTHING to do with.

im not talking about WWE. WWE owns loads of footage & help us back than so think before u type.

I have NO problem when Indy promoters book ECW legends vs each other, that's different.That's a SHOW. Not sucking off orig footage.

FYI- I also have NO problem w/ECW reunion shows. It seems like fans enjoyed the nostalgia aspect of seeing ECW originals! I think that cool."

Seems like he's talking about RF Video? HorrorFan explained this before, RF owns ECW footage as they used to distribute it. So they did have something to do with it... Taz is usually one of the biggest idiots in wrestling though, so it's just him being stupid.

Is that who he was talking about? For a second I didn't know what the fuck he was talking about. If not WWE than who?! :

I agree that he's talking out of his ass because I do remember RF being an original distributor but do they still have those distribution rights? I'm assuming they wouldn't with WWE owing the catalog unless RF actually had a stake in the company which granted them certain ownership rights.
