I think this one is a no brainer to be honest. Philip Banks was an amazing dad to his kids, he did so much to protect them. He even took Will in as one of his own, and told him "you are my son." at the end of the series. It's going to be hard for anyone to beat this man honestly.

I put Phil only on my #2 and it's pretty much guaranteed I would only vote against him if he crosses path with my #1...maybe... since that one is pretty much a coin flip for me.

Never seen American Dad, except for snippets, but I'm confident with my opinion here.

I never really got into American Dad that much but Stan seems okay from what I’ve seen of it, but he’s no Uncle Phil. Uncle Phil was a great father to not only his own children but Will as well and he’s what every dad should strive to be like imo.

Uncle Phil comes from the Generation to where he tells it like it is no matter what. Still at the end of the day even if he gets frustrated or upset with any of the Kids he loves them and will go to back for them especially Will who needed a Father figure for wisdom throughout the Show.
