12million with add-ons (performance related) expected to go to 14million.

Also Adam Johnson has passed medical and expected to sign today

Good time to be a Sunderland fan :yay:

14 Million? - It's a funny world isn't it when we sell Adebayor for £5 million. Haha!

I was wondering about that deal actually are you subsiding some of his wages? I should image he's above Spurs' budget.

There has been a few rumours that we're paying some of his wages, I can't tell for definite because It hasn't really been reported by a reliable source, but rather it's been reported by personal Manchester City blogs.

I'm pretty sure we will be paying some of his wage for a short while though yes.

Two great wingers there.

Absolutely, I'd LOVE us to get Johnson. If there's any hold up, it's that Mancini :tough:

This would be my ideal line up at the end of the transfer window:

Mignolet
Bardsley - Cuellar - O'Shea - Richardson/Olsson (if Rico goes)
Johnson - Colback - Cattermole - McClean
Sessegon
Fletcher (If Sessegnon is injured/banned, Saha up front with Fletcher)

That's actually a very good squad, could do with better RB/LB, but other than that it's brilliant. :obama:

I'd say lower mid table can see them shipping a few tbh, not sure Fletcher will get much more than 10 goals also.

Glad we got Adam Johnson off our books, very talented player for sure. But constant spats with Mancini will only cause dressing room unrest.

There was no spats, it's just he wasn't used because of your squad of 90 players, 70+ of which are quality.

No spats, okay. So I'm guessing Mancini been held back by Ivan Carminiti & Attilio Lombado isn't called a spat what is it?

__________

Also Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Victor Moses. Wigan are going down.

Sky Sports understands Manchester City have been unable to agree a fee with Swansea City to sign winger Scott Sinclair.

City had been expected to finalise a reported £6.2million deal for Sinclair on Tuesday, but it now appears that the transfer has fallen through.

I was looking forward to Sinclair signing, I'm still sure he could sign, but the fact is people think because we're Man City and we have plenty of money they think we can afford to do it on every player. Swansea should be grateful they would be getting 6 million for Sinclair. A Player who's on the last year of his contract, and he claims he doesn't want to re-sign. Surely you would just cash in on him?

Football is all about money now-a-days and that's the only downside of been a City fan because when you are in a serious debate with any football fan that's all they seem to bring up and talk about.. Money this, Money that. By god I was happy when I was over the moon as a City fan when we had Andy Cole, and Darius Vassell up front, actually 2005 was my favourite time of been a city fan. (Apart from winning the league) because we had no expectation within the team. And now with the massive amounts of money we've invested it feel's like I demand a victory each week. Money ruins football that is all I have to say, from a Manchester City fan.

Lol I hoped City would sign him, he's a decent Prem player at best and definitely not good enough for the Champs imo, he may get better but currently he's a Scumderland player at best.

What a fantastic post and mature opinion from a City fan. Wow. Liked.

You're right, City are one of the richest clubs in the world so clubs will naturally hold out for more money. Maybe you'll get him in the January window.

In other news though, Julio Cesar is going to fucking QPR!
