Why are people always mentioning Festus and forgetting he was Luke Gallows with CM Punk? Luke Gallows was his last gimmick with WWE so why would they chant Festus?

On the positive, this might allow for guys like Naito and Ishii to get elevated to a higher level. But I don't really see Ishii getting any higher, but who knows.

Because that was a Blue gimmick. People like spoiling stuff with bringing up things from the past. Like chanting "sexual chocolate" at Henry, when he was a monster heel.

Because of the dumbasses trying to get under his skin thinking he doesn't belong

NJPW fans being happy about this confuses me.

The only good thing to come out of this is NJ booking being shaken up a little bit, but yeah, doesn't seem like this is what's getting everybody (a few, sure, me included) excited. In general I don't see why people get excited about even just US indy guys being recruited (assuming you follow their work there), so this isn't any different, I guess.

It'll force NJPW to shake things up booking-wise.
You don't have to lose people from the roster to shake things up.
This is not a good thing for New Japan. Two top draws are on the way out apparently. Nakamura is THE most over guy in New Japan and sells more merch than anyone. Shaking up the booking is not good enough motivation for allowing him to walk.

Sure AJ, Karl and Doc are probably going to be making better money now and get to be home in their own country. But this isn't something NJPW fans should be happy about.

I'm not happy when ROH loses a guy, I'm not happy when AJPW or NOAH loses talent. Not going to be happy when New Japan loses talent.

I'll be happy for the talent itself who are probably making more money, but I'm not going to be happy happy.

It may just be a secret partnership with NJPW for the network release in Japan. I read somewhere and I'm too lazy to find the source for it but wwe approached them months ago about letting them put their content on the network. I can assume this means an actual partnership with them.is made somewhere

Nakamura's done pretty much everything in NJPW. Plus, it seems the dude wants to do big things in the US, so if that's his dream, he should roll with it.
