Strippers trade lap dances for toys

A Chicago strip club is offering free lap dances for the needy.

Customers who bring in an unused, unwrapped toy until Saturday will get a free lap dance at the Admiral Theatre.

The toy drive is similar to an event held every year by Edmonton strippers.

On Nov. 12, the ladies at the X Bar strip club held a Strip-a-Thon where they handed over their wages and tips to help kids in need.

"All of us have done so well over the past years, and it's our way of giving back to the community," said Shannon Pederson, with X Bar.

"A lot of the girls have really busy schedules, and so this is their small way of donating to the (holiday) spirit."

Nice to see them getting into the Christmas spirit. Too bad they aren't doing that around here, I bet I could convince my wife to let me go since its for the children.

I would definitely visit a strip club for that.

This is the first year that I haven't donated anything to Toys for Tots. I couldn't afford it this year. Until this year I always bought 4 toys for it, 2 for girls and 2 for boys. I need to talk to the CEO of where I work so we can do it at work next year. I think it is a great thing and it should always be done if you are able to do so.
