4 Burning Questions
1) Who picked it up today?
2) What system do you have it on?
3) Who wants to get their ass kicked later or team up for a co-op?
4) Will you be buying the Namco version as well or instead which comes out this fall?

I'm going to buy this game ASAP, looks epic. I don't know which system I should buy it for though but when I do end up deciding and buying it, I'll hit you up.

How is this PSYCH?

Are the controlls and look based on Tekken or SF?

I've liked both games, but I was a hell of a lot better at Street Fighter.

Me too, I always found Street Fighter to be a much easier game, I don't know why. Once I learned to use every move by Ryu, I feel unstoppable, like no one can beat me. I even have the Sega version of the game, my god, Ken is super hard to beat in that game, so is E. Honda, once they knock me down, they just keep coming at me so I begin to spam my controller. The only people that I can use in Tekken decently has gotta be Paul, King and Eddie, they're movesets are the only ones I can master but I still can't do well. I like Tekken and all but it's really to hard of a game for me, I grew up on Street Fighter though so no wonder I like that game series more. Still haven't bought this game but I will look into it more and most likely will.

Think I'm done with fighting games. I can never stay interested in them very long anymore.

You don't even like Soul Calibur? I thought that game was wicked fun, I loved kicking ass with Nightmare, but online was shit, everyone spammed.

Never played the Soul Caliber series, just haven't been very invested into the fighting genre for a long time.

I got Mortal Kombat for nostalgic reasons, I actually used to love that series when I was younger... played Tekken for a little while, but that's it really. Never was a fan of Street Fighter.

You should try one of the games sometime, they're entertaining as hell. I like the Mortal Kombat series, it is definitely one of my favorite fighter game series of all time, it is kinda addicting, especially the new one.

Fighting games are fun, I mainly play them with friends, as I can't really have a good time with online play. I'm either getting my assed whopped or not getting any challenge.

I'm a big Soul Calibur fan.

Just haven't picked up the new one yet. I probably will in a bit.

This one is based off SF. Namco makes the one with the Tekken engine for the fall. Thew game itself is fun especially the tag feature if you get a solid partner. Like you, I always was better at SF than Tekken, not to say I couldn't play them.

And Deuce I agree with you about SC being a good fighting franchise, still got to get the new one. You into DOA as well?

I'm always excited to play new fighters but after a week I usually put them down. My favorite has to be Mortal Kombat series. Especially in terms of story where I feel the others don't hold a candle to. I'm not very good at Street Fighter or Tekken but I rented this and am gonna play it tomorrow. I like Soul Caliber despite its stupid story trying to be deep but I have yet to play that also. I really did enjoy Marvel vs Capcom 3 though.

im a hardcore gamer but for some reason i suck so bad at fighting games.no matter what i do i always catch a beatdown which is why after a savage beatdown in mortalm kombat a few weeks ago i decuded to retire from ever playing fighting games again.my massive male ego can no longer take getting my ass kicked over and over again.
