That's an extremely unpopular opinion, but I'm open to discuss my point:
Imo he wasn't a main-event talent. He was booked like that, but it doesn't prove anything honestly.
There was a need to fill the gap and WWE "imposted" him as a hero on the fans with ridiculous booking.
So... i have a two questions, one for:
guys that consider Austin GOAT: what makes him more iconic than Hulk Hogan who created two wrestling booms (and who actually kicked off AE with nWo)
and another one, for:
guys that consider Austin one of GOATs: basically: what makes him one of them in your opinion? Do you believe that he'd be in the main-event scene without McMahon & Tyson?
